The Buisson-Sabotier quarry in Landes-le-Gaulois is located on the edge of the Aquitanian lacustrine limestone plateau of the Petite Beauce region. It features remarkable cryoturbation structures formed during glacial phases of the Quaternary period. Developed by the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels of Loir-et-Cher, this former quarry is now equipped with educational materials.
