CALL FOR PAPERS – ASF CONFERENCE (PARIS, 27–29 OCTOBER 2026)

The Association des Sédimentologistes Français (ASF), Université Paris-Saclay, and the Géosciences Paris-Saclay laboratory (GEOPS) are organizing the 20th French Congress of Sedimentology, which will take place from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 October 2026 on the Université Paris-Saclay campus, in the Bouygues building at CentraleSupélec.

The French Congress of Sedimentology is the official conference of the Association des Sédimentologistes Français (ASF). It has been organized every two years since 1987 by a university or higher education institution and brings together an average of 300 participants.

This 20th edition will provide an opportunity to gather the scientific community around 28 sessions structured into 10 major themes, offering a key moment for exchange, collaboration, and discussion through scientific sessions and field trips. A careers forum will also be organized to provide an overview of employment opportunities and to present the latest digital innovations during a dedicated workshop.

You can consult the session abstracts and submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation on the website of the 20th French Congress of Sedimentology – ASF Paris-Saclay 2026.

Schedule:

  • Abstract submission deadline: 1 June 2026
  • Early registration deadline: 1 July 2026
  • Standard registration deadline: 15 September 2026
