INQUA 2027 CONGRESS – CALL FOR SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS & TRAINING COURSES
The 22nd INQUA Congress will be held from January 28 to February 3, 2027, in Lucknow, India. The theme of the congress is “Quaternary Sciences for Society.”
Call for Session Proposals
Session proposals should align with the scientific themes related to INQUA’s vision, its scientific commissions, and its initiatives. They should address current and emerging issues in Quaternary science, as well as new perspectives on how science can serve society.
Proposals exploring the contributions of Quaternary research to major societal challenges—such as paleoclimate, environmental changes, human impact, geohazards, geological resources, as well as issues related to gender and early career researchers—are especially encouraged.
Call for Workshop and Training Course Proposals
A call is now open for proposals to organize a series of workshops and training courses aimed at students, early career researchers (ECRs), or any interested researcher, in connection with the 2027 Congress theme: “Quaternary Sciences for Society.” Contributions that highlight innovative, impactful research in the field of Quaternary sciences and foster links between science and society are strongly encouraged.
