QUATERNARY CONFERENCE “Q14”, RENNES, 26 FEBRUARY – 1 MARCH 2024
The 14th International Quaternary Symposium will be held in Rennes from 26 February to 1 March 2024.
Entitled “Q14: All to the West! The Quaternary in All Its Forms: Land, Sea, Ice”, it will be organized by the Centre for Research in Archaeology, Archéosciences, and History (CReAAH, UMR 6566) under the patronage of AFEQ-CNF INQUA.
Aiming to bring together scientific communities working on the Quaternary, the “Q14” symposium will be structured around nine thematic sessions and a roundtable discussion, showcasing the diversity of research topics and approaches within the French Quaternary science community.
The main goals of the Q14 symposium are to present current research, explore new investigative methods, and highlight their relevance to major societal challenges.

During the symposium, AFEQ-CNF INQUA will award the Franck Bourdier PhD Prize (application procedure details here) as well as the Henriette Alimen Career Medal (application procedure details here).
