History

Quaternaire was created in 1964 by the AFEQ as the “Bulletin de l’AFEQ” and its name was changed to Quaternaire in 1990. This scientific journal has four issues per year. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed. Suggestions for special issues on specific themes and/or in connection to quaternary meetings or AFEQ-CNF INQUA excursions can be submitted by guest editors. Papers (in french or english) on all aspects of Quaternary research are accepted.

Since June 2007 the journal has been accepted for the following Thomson ISI products: Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCIE) including the Web of Science  ISI Alerting Service.
